Bill Ayers, Transportation Facilitator

Bill Ayers is the new Transportation Facilitator for the Stoughton Affordable Transportation Program, a role he recently stepped into following his retirement from a 35 year career in Information Technology, including over 25 years in leadership positions. He and his family have lived in Oregon, WI since 2005. Bill has a long history of community involvement, while working at Lands’ End, he chaired the Dodgeville School District’s Technology Committee, partnering with the superintendent to secure computer donations and ensure every classroom had internet access. He has also volunteered as a coach for youth sports teams, including soccer, baseball, and hockey. Bill looks forward to bringing his leadership and organizational skills to ATP in support of its mission to provide accessible and affordable transportation for local families. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, or visiting the dog park with his Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, Jesse.
